On Wednesday, Jan. 22, more than 20 interested people attended the Quinso event Becoming an Intelligent Manufacturer. A diverse group consisting of supply chain managers, SAP specialists and manufacturing managers from companies such as Hunter Douglas and Supertape. All with the same question: how do I become that smarter manufacturer?
It was about Industry 4.0 and all the aspects to consider when your organization wants to take “the next step. What can we learn from ants? How do we deal with staff shortages? Are you already daring to make the move to the Cloud? What will you invest in and what exactly will you not invest in? And how do you take your people to the next step? The common thread of the day: we can learn a lot from each other. And, if you really want to make strides, go on a journey together. That is exactly what Marc van der Zon, did this day. He took all the participants on a journey.
